Start with the outcome
Describe what participants should be able to do differently after the workshop. A specific outcome — such as improving a service review or documenting project risks — gives the program a useful focus.
Understand your audience
Capture participants’ roles, experience and shared challenges. A mixed group may benefit from a common foundation before moving into role-specific discussions.
Make space for application
Bring realistic scenarios and allow time to connect ideas to your own environment. Agree how the team will share or apply what they learn after the session.
